Chilling Video Shows Israeli Soldier Assassinating a Wounded Palestinian

by Stephen Lendman

The self-styled world’s most moral army is a mobilized gang of assassins, ignoring fundamental rule of law principles, operating by their own exclusively, killing and brutalizing ruthlessly.

On October 31, the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) showed video evidence of an Israeli soldier assassinating 23-year-old Jabal Johar as he lay wounded, bleeding, helpless on the ground.

Two days before the incident, Amnesty International said “Israeli forces have carried out a series of unlawful killings of Palestinians using intentional lethal force without justification.”

“Willful killings of Palestinians in the Occupied Palestinian Territories are grave breaches of the Fourth Geneva Convention, over which all states can exercise universal jurisdiction” to prosecute offenders when nations where they reside can’t or fail to do so.

“Mahdi Mohtaseb, who is survived by four brothers, four sisters, and many grieving family and loved ones, joins the daily rising death toll of mostly Palestinian youths gunned down by Israeli forces and Israeli settlers since October 1st,” said ISM.

The video circulated online. Muhtasib was murdered close to the Salaymeh checkpoint in Hebron’s old city, a flashpoint area for numerous Israeli atrocities.

He lay helpless still moving his arms and legs. An Israeli soldier lethally shot him in the back at point blank range. ISM volunteers said he was supposed to meet his fiancee later that day (October 29).

An IDF spokesman lied, claiming the soldier foiled a stabbing attack. Video evidence showed otherwise. Daily cold blooded murders continue. Israel’s racist killing fields show no mercy.
