US Supports Terrorists in Syria, Says Al-Nusra Unit Commander

US Supports Terrorists in Syria, Says Al-Nusra Unit Commander

by Stephen Lendman

It’s no surprise to readers of my articles throughout the conflict, begun in March 2011, weeks after US-led NATO began terror-bombing Libya, transforming North Africa’s most developed country into a cauldron of endless violence and chaos.

Obama launched war on Syria, deceptively calling it civil, using terrorists as proxy foot soldiers - arming, funding, training and directing them, teaching them the fine art of committing atrocities, along with use of chemical and other banned weapons.

All anti-government forces in Syria are terrorists, largely imported from scores of countries. I’ve repeatedly explained the hoax of so-called “moderates.” They don’t exist, claiming otherwise one of many Big Lies about the conflict.

German broadsheet Kolner Stadtanzeiger journalist Jurgen Todenhofer interviewed al-Nusra unit commander Abu Al Ezz in terrorist-controlled eastern Aleppo, saying:

“(T)he US supports the (Syrian) opposition, but not directly. They support the countries which support us. But we are not satisfied with this support.”

“They should support us with highly developed weapons. We have won battles thanks to the ‘TOW’ missiles. We reached a balance with the regime through these missiles. We received the tanks from Libya through Turkey. Also the ‘BMs’ - multiple rocket launchers.”

“(It) is through (directly supplied) American ‘TOW(s)’ that we have the situation in some regions under control.” Operatives on the ground from America, Israel Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar aid them - “(e)xperts in the use of satellites, rockets, reconnaissance and thermal security cameras.”

Al Ezz stressed “(t)he Americans are on our side.” They support all anti-government terrorists ravaging Syria, bearing full responsibility for one of history’s great crimes, continuing endlessly with no prospect for diplomatic resolution possible because neocons infesting Washington reject it.

Hopefully Russia understands the futility of negotiating with a rogue partner, systematically breaching virtually all its deals unilaterally -using diplomacy as cover to continue waging imperial wars.

All sovereign independent nations worldwide are targeted for regime change, by wars or color revolutions, likely headed for nuclear war on Russia, maybe China and Iran - a doomsday scenario if launched.
