Fake News Claims Putin Directed Nonexistent US Election Hacking

Fake News Claims Putin Directed Nonexistent US Election Hacking

by Stephen Lendman

Pro-Hillary dark forces blame Putin for what never happened. No US election hacking or other interference occurred. No evidence suggest it. None exists.

The whole ugly business is fabricated fake news to bash Russia, Putin personally, and undermine Trump’s legitimate triumph, another attempt to deny him the office he won.

Pro-Hillary media scoundrels are part of the scam. On December 15 at 1:40AM Eastern time, NBC News online headlined “US Officials: Putin Personally Involved in US Election Hack,” saying:

US intelligence officials now believe with ‘a high level of confidence’ that Russian President Vladimir Putin became personally involved in the covert Russian campaign to interfere in the US presidential election, (two) senior US intelligence officials told NBC News.”

They spuriously claimed “direct access to…new intelligence…from diplomatic sources and spies working for US allies…”

The fake news plot claimed a “vendetta” against Hillary, “morphing into an effort to show corruption in American politics and to ‘split off key American allies by creating the image that (other countries) couldn't depend on the US to be a credible global leader anymore.’ ”

“(O)nly Russia’s senior-most officials could have authorized these activities.” Alleged “solid information” is fake news - NBC’s report a classic example of how it’s proliferated.

A US administration, intelligence, congressional, Pentagon or other government source puts out a fabricated story claimed to be true based on nonexistent evidence not revealed for whatever reason.

Media scoundrels jump on it, spreading the Big Lie like gospel. NBC’s exclusive overnight report will circulate widely in short order - with no due diligence checking for accuracy.

Fact: No evidence indicates Russian US election hacking or any other type interference. If it existed, it would have been reported in October when DHS and DNI irresponsibly claimed Russian cyberattacks “intended to interfere with the US election process.”

It was politically motivated fake news, no evidence cited because none exists - not then, now or ever. No Russian interference in America’s election occurred, yet repeating it endlessly gets most people to believe it.

The scheme is to get 37 or more Republican electors to deny Trump from receiving 270 votes needed on Monday to officially confirm his triumph.

Though highly unlikely, if occurs, a national convulsion could follow, including blood in the streets, perhaps followed by constitutional suspension, martial law and full-blown tyranny - on the phony pretext of sacrificing freedom for greater security, both lost if this happens.

Not a pretty picture! We’ll know more after the Electoral College votes on Monday.
